Ahhh I feel less like a homeless person camping out in an empty home and more like me again! Someone told me today that without internet maybe the family could have bonded better. I just laughed :)
It was an interesting journey. I suspect the cabin crew on the 747 tried to poison me... there was enough salt in those eggs to make the Dead Sea look filtered. On the way to the airport the car in front of us had a pig lying in the back with his legs up against the window. He might have been dead. He might even have been a she. I guess we'll never know. :'(
We went to Ikea this afternoon to buy stuff for the house. I'm amazed at how much we managed to get into the car, which is awesome by the way, but only ours for a week. I'll try to find a picture of it sometime for you, Mum.
Well, I'd better get back to helping making chairs. Not that I'm at all talented in this area, but if my absence is noted, the fact that I'm on the computer may be somewhat frowned upon...
So excited for you all, but feeling sorry for Mum - not that she doesn't have delightful company at home, but I do feel for her losing you guys all at once.... and for SO LONG!

ReplyDeleteAlex can't drive! When we get another car, Dad and I will be sharing the driving until he leaves, but I'm not happy driving the one we've got now, it's HUGE!
We're all looking forward to seeing DR! When does he arrive.
I'm going to avoid the chairs until Jeremy and Alex have tested them ;)
